What was the highlight of OX Hotel Manchester
Good value for large room
The rooms were large, bathroom was spacious and had a good shower. Good value for money and room was always clean and towels were large and fluffy.
No bedside tables. TV was tiny and at the end wall so very difficult to see! The bed was a large double with 2 singles pushed together but the mattresses were not the same height so really uncomfortable in the centre of the bed.

What was the highlight of OX Hotel Manchester
Good for a short stopover, free parking on site & good transport links to Manchester City Centre.
I don't know which Hotel Gods some previous reviewers had angered but our room (double, 10th floor) was warm, clean (spotless) and comfortable. Shower/bathroom excellent, plentiful hot water. Reception and checkout were slick, friendly and professional. Didn't make use of the bar but it looked to be well supplied and reasonably priced.
Some of the fixtures and fittings are a little flimsy (bathroom towel rail, over bed lights) and might not last too long in a hotel environment. The location seems a little forbidding, it's an old Salford University building which has been re-purposed as a hotel. Reception is on the second floor. If you get a room close to the fire doors in the corridor these are not damped and "slam" as people pass through which might disturb your night's sleep. N.B. If you are mobility challenged, look elsewhere. The Reception and rooms are on mezzanine floors only accessible by either climbing or descending a short flight of stairs.

Get what you pay for really.
Hotel room was nice, had everything you could need, staff were friendly.
Carpet in the room was very dirty, the bed was really quite uncomfortable and the location was further out from manchester than we thought, however that is on our end- just a note.
